These projects are motivated by personal curiosity. Some are long-term projects that span over time. Some are shorter-term artistic projects that have been derived from travel or personal discovery. Recurring theme that spark my interest include cultural identity, migration, and transformation across societies.
Women's Interiority: Documenting Agency and Dignity
A long-term study examining women's roles in sustaining cultural and economic systems across diverse societies. This work explores how women navigate social structures, express autonomy, and shape community identity. The series seeks to celebrate strength, complexity, and the universal patterns of human resilience that transcend boundaries.
Navigating Kashmir
This project is intended to examine cultural identity under pressure, and the intimate relationship between pastoral communities and fragile ecosystems. Unfortunately, the work is currently on hold as a result of current instability being experienced in the region.
